We have made moving your WordPress site to staXscale as simple as possible using our automated migration tool.
Using the WordPress Migration Tool
1. Log in to your staXscale dashboard.
2. Navigate to WordPress > Migrate.
3. Enter the connection details for your old host (URL, username, password).
4. The tool will validate the connection and begin transferring your files and database automatically.
Manual Migration
If you prefer to move your site manually or have a non-WordPress application:
1. Files: Use File Manager or SFTP to upload your site content to the /httpdocs or /public folder.
2. Database: Export your SQL file from your old host and import it via phpMyAdmin in the Databases section.
3. DNS: Once your data is in place, update your DNS records to point to your new staXscale IP address.
Listen, migration is one of the messiest parts of this entire process, and we've been there before. We recommend also having the Prime Mover and the All-in-One plugins at your fingertips in case things just aren't working (it happens).
