Your staXscale dashboard includes a suite of tools to harden your site against attacks.
SSL Certificates (HTTPS)
- Install: Go to the Security/SSL section and choose "Issue free certificate" (often via Let's Encrypt). Validation may take a few moments.
- Force HTTPS: Once installed, enable the "Redirect to HTTPS" option in your domain settings to ensure all visitors use the secure connection.
- Troubleshooting: If your site says "Not Secure" after installing, check for "mixed content" (loading images over HTTP) or ensure your DNS points to staXscale.
Web Application Firewall (WAF)
Enable the WAF in the Security section with one click. This adds a protective layer that filters out common malicious traffic and attacks before they reach your site.
Malware Scanning
You can run an on-demand scan of your files by clicking Scan for Malware in the Security tab. The scanner will flag suspicious files and suggest next steps.
IP Blocking
To ban a specific visitor or bot, go to IP Access Controls and add the IP address to the blocklist.
